PEPSI BEACH BALL DROP - Fri 5pm-7pm, The Wharf, Orange Beach

Don't miss the annual kick off to the 100 Days of Summer at The Wharf. Thousands of beach balls will fall from the sky and some specially marked beach balls are redeemable for prizes and concert tickets. Live music by The Park Band, the Spectra Light and Sound Spectacular and much more. Kids activities will include: bouncy houses, rock climbing wall, surfboard simulator, face painting, camel rides ($5), live animals and more. Beach balls will drop at 6:20pm.  CLICK HERE

DIVA MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY- Mon 11am, Water Tower Plaza, Dauphin Island

The Dauphin Island Veterans Association will host its annual Memorial Day ceremony Monday, May 30, beginning at 11 a.m. at Water Tower Plaza. In addition to the usual program, the names of three Dauphin Island veterans will be added to the memorial wall.  CLICK HERE   



2nd Annual ROCK FOR VETS ON THE BEACH - Mon 11am-6pm, American Legion Post 199, Fairhope

Barbecue chicken and pulled pork sandwiches and plates with sides, $12, will be served from 11 a.m. until they are sold out. Concert will be held on Legion Beach featuring Lisa Zanghi and Scott Koehn from 2-4 p.m. and MidLife Crisis Classic Rock Band from 4-6 p.m. Tickets are just $10, free for veterans and kids under 15.  CLICK HERE

PENSACOLA MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY - Sun 1 pm, Veterans Memorial Park

Guest Speaker will be Tony Gain, a highly-decorated retired Marine Colonel who completed three combat tours, instructed at some of the Marine Corps' most prestigious Leadership and Training academies, and served with the State Department. The local Boy Scouts of America will conduct an official Flag Retirement Ceremony. The public is invited and encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. CLICK HERE
