For those of you who don't know, a battle royale is a fight to the finish. It's a last man standing, in other words. Surely, you've played it as a game mode at some point in your life. Battlegrounds is a game dedicated to the format. PLAYERUNKNOWN'S Battlegrounds wants to put you in with 99 other players on an island, armed to the teeth with weapons. Last man standing wins.
Battlegrounds is in Early Access week 5 at the time of this blog posting. And it's only on PC, right now too. You can find it on Steam right here.
The trailer looks like insane fun. I definitely get a Day Z atmosphere with a GTA 5 combat feel about the game. We'll be keeping an eye on this one for you guys.
