Spire is a boutique ad agency located in downtown Mobile, AL on Dauphin Street. Carl Norman and Harriet Shade founded the business in 2013. They currently run the business with their social media manager, Scootie Dabbs. Recently they have had an influx of calls, coming in at all hours of the day/evening.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of the calls aren't request for proposals. They are calls coming in from people who want to chat about turning their gas back on or their gas bill.
But wait a minute, Spire is a boutique ad agency. Why would they care about gas?
Well, they don't.
Mobile Gas was purchased with 4 other gas companies, Laclede Gas, Missouri Gas Energy, Mobile Gas and Willmut Gas, from Spire, a St. Louis company called Spire. Now that Mobile Gas is in full operations, Spire the boutique ad agency, is getting a lot of unwanted calls from gas customers. They've even put a sign up in their storefront letting would-be gas customers know, they've reached the wrong destination for gas bills.
