I have to brag for a minute about my fellow KC fans. They are walking tall and feeling proud right now. Win or lose come Sunday they will all continue that way all the way up to the next football season. For good reason right now because HouseMethod.com asked more than 4,000 adults who they're rooting for on Sunday, and 55.7% said Kansas City, while 44.3% are going with the San Francisco.
Now here's the thing Florida for the most part will be pulling for San Francisco, I know a few of us that are the exception to the rule. Being raised in Missouri I am pulling for Kansas City if for no other reason because they haven't gotten to play in the Big Game for 50 years. Here is the fun part about those of us who are from Missouri and rooting for KC, we expect that they will choke. After 50 years of watching them get to that crucial moment of greatness and watching them choke we have come to expect it, but it won't even come close to stop our pride come Sunday. It's almost shocking that our boys haven't choked yet and might actually have a chance. Whatever the case come Sunday I will loud and proud be yelling GO KC!!!
I will even point out to everyone around me that's pulling for San Fran that the annual EA Sports simulation on "Madden" is predicting that Kansas City will win 35-31.
If you just happen to all of a sudden hop on the band wagon and start trying to become a KC super fan...you're going to have to step it up a few notches. KC super fans are die hard! Arrowhead has crazy weather and the super fans will brave all elements to cheer of their favorite team. I refer you to a few pics from my friend Becky who falls under the category of SUPER FAN to the point of actually being a part of Arrowhead stadium. So if you decide to go super fan after this weekend I expect to see you go all the way with it make a road trip and brave the elements, oh yea and bring me back a t-shirt lol
Just for fun in case you have the people at your party who are only there for the halftime show you can lay some truth on them that the NFL is releasing a "visual album" with all the musical performances, including the halftime show with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, the National Anthem with Demi Lovato, and "America the Beautiful" with Yolanda Adams. Each musical performance, with video, will go live on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube shortly after they happen. And if you want to actually OWN a copy, you can purchase a download on Apple Music.
Even if we can't be there in person on Sunday you can still be a part of the game, the NFL says that they're going to print TWEETS on the confetti for the celebration after the game. If you want your Tweet to possibly be included, you need to add the hashtag #NFLTwitter
Have a great time this weekend and do us all a favor and party responsibly.
