The Check-- or Debit Card-- Should Be In The Mail

So you've been checking your account and no sign of that $600 stimulus. Now what?

According to IRS.gov, if you're eligible for the stimulus and don’t receive a direct deposit by early January, you should watch your mail for either a paper check or a debit card.

Yes... a debit card.

Millions of Americans are receiving their stimulus payments in the form of pre-paid debit cards.

The Treasury Department says it began mailing the cards to about eight-million people this week.

The payments will arrive in an envelope marked with the Treasury Department seal.

Officials say the enclosed Visa debit card will have the issuing bank name and include instructions on its use.
