Mask Mandate Extended to March 5th in Alabama

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey today extended her Safer At Home order, including the mask mandate, another six weeks (through March 5th).

The Governor says, "The mask mandate remains the one step we can all take in order to keep some balance in our daily lives while maintaining health and safety."

Ivey also acknowledged that there's not enough vaccine available right now-- "Unfortunately, we don't have enough vaccine for everyone who wants one nor, in fact, does any other state. However, @ALPublicHealth's (Alabama Public Health) team is working quickly to distribute vaccines statewide."
