MOBILE CHILI COOK-OFF- Sat 11am-3pm, Canal Street, between Broad and Washington, downtown Mobile

The American Cancer Society’s Mobile Chili Cook-off is a fun, friendly competition to see who has the best chili and to raise money for local programs, like the "Road to Recovery Program" which helps cancer patients get rides to doctor appointments and treatments. Tickets are 10 dollars in advance; 15 dollars at the gate. Kids 12 and under get in free! CLICK HERE 

MOBILE LATIN FEST- Fri 5pm-9pm, Cathedral Square, downtown Mobile

Get ready for live music from Zona Libre, a parade of flags, a DJ, dancing, food, vendors, a domino tournament, a Mariachi band, piñatas, food trucks, and more! This is a free event. Family-friendly. 25th Annual CRUISIN’ THE COAST- Oct 3- Sun Oct 10, Mississippi Gulf Coast

Cruisin the Coast began in 1996 as a festival to celebrate antique, classic and hot rod vehicles. Car enthusiasts showcase their rides and cruise the coast, with stops in Bay St Louis, Biloxi, D’Iberville, Pass Christian, Ocean Springs and Pascagoula. CLICK HERE

THRILLER NIGHTS OF LIGHTS-- Nightly 7pm-10pm, through Oct 31st, Hank Aaron Stadium

Returning this fall season at the Hank Aaron Stadium is the Thriller Nights of Lights of Mobile, a family-friendly drive-thru light show synchronized to music playing through your car radio. Displays of giant spiders, spooky eyes, friendly ghosts, and tumbling scarecrows are just a few of the displays to see dancing to a fun variety of music.​ The only show of its kind in the country, Thriller Nights of Lights of Mobile will thrill kids and adults of all ages. CLICK HERE
