Where To Recycle Your Christmas Tree On The Gulf Coast

Some of us are ready to take down our Christmas trees, now that we're into January.

Others are waiting for Twelfth Night, which is January 5th, the night before Epiphany.

And there are those who are just changing the decorations on their tree, turning it into a Mardi Gras tree!

If you're done with your tree and want to recycle it, look below for drop-off locations in Mobile, Baldwin County, the Pensacola area and Santa Rosa County.

Make sure you remove all decorations from the tree before you recycle.

The City of Mobile is turning the trees into mulch which you can pick up for free at Langan Municipal Park (4901 Zeigler Boulevard) from January 17 to January 22, 2023.

Baldwin County is using the trees for compost, which is available for sale to Baldwin County Citizens for $25.00 per ton.
