About the Artist:

Steve Augeri is the former lead singer of Journey.

Drawing on a range of diverse musical influences to deliver a unique take on the genre of melodic rock, Steve Augeri is an American rock singer best known as the lead vocalist for the rock group Journey from 1998 to 2006.

Augeri joined Journey as lead vocalist in 1998. He has stated that replacing Steve Perry as the band’s lead singer was "incredibly daunting”.

Steve debuts with the seven times Platinum "Armageddon" sound track then on to record three albums during a successful eight-year tenure that brought one of the worlds most accomplished melodic rock groups back to the stage for multiple world tours and millions of adorning fans.

The song "Remember Me", from the soundtrack album from the movie Armageddon, was a Top 20 Billboard Hit.

Augeri recorded three albums with Journey: Arrival (2001), the EP Red 13 (2002), and Generations (2005).

The live DVD of Journey's Las Vegas concert recorded in December 2000, entitled Journey 2001, acquired platinum status.

Opening for Steve Augeri will be The Wildflowers Tom Petty Tribute.

Now in their 12th year together, The Wildflowers have become the most successful internationally touring tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Playing all the hits of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Tom Petty’s solo music, and even The Traveling Wilburys thrown in for good measure, with such precision, energy, and authentic southern charm, you have to see and hear The Wildflowers to believe it.

“Who doesn’t love Tom Petty?” bassist Darryell Stone asked himself one day in 2012 while listening to the radio. There was only one answer he could imagine, “Nobody.” Testing his hypothesis, Stone polled friends, family and fellow musicians how they felt about Petty. The result was always the same. Everyone loves Tom Petty.

One of these fellow musicians just happened to be Tom Petty’s doppelganger, guitarist and lead vocalist Jonathan Guthrie. Guthrie was an avid fan and had always fantasized about being a Heartbreaker. As two seasoned musicians and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers fans, there was really only one thing for them to do – form a Tom Petty tribute band.
