I don't know about you, but I'm a little iffy when it comes to traveling this year. I just don't want to put in the research to find out state and city requirements when traveling through multiple states this year. My solution was to keep my summer vacation closer to home and get out of the panhandle and spend a little time in southern Florida. Well it looks like I have to make sure I take my mask with me as I travel my home state. As of now most major cities in Florida are now requiring face masks in public. We have a mandatory non-negotiable order now in place for residents in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, St. Petersburg and Orange County, which includes the city of Orlando, and officials in the Florida Keys voted to require masks in indoor settings until June of 2021. The one major city that just tells you to use your own judgement right now is Jacksonville. Needless to say I WILL be taking my face mask with me wherever I end up going.
So, if you were planning like me to keep it closer to home this year now we know what the rules are. STAY SAFE!!
