8th Annual MASSACRE ISLAND- Sat/Sun 9am-5pm, Historic Fort Gaines, Dauphin Island

In 1711, pirates stormed Mobile Bay and attacked the Island that was once called Massacre Island, because of a huge pile of human skeletons discovered by Pierre Le Moyne. Come and see the Pirates as they pilfer and pillage Isle Dauphine and fight against Spanish and British Galleons. Highlights include the Flintlock Pistol Duel, Pirate Tug of War, Cannon Firing, and Treasure Hunt for kids 12 and under.  CLICK HERE   

  

RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE: WERQ THE WORLD- Sun 7:30pm, Pensacola Saenger Theatre

This year, RuPaul's Drag Race Werq the World is taking you behind the velvet ropes of the most exclusive awards show in herstory. Get ready to walk the red carpet hosted by Jimbo as Joan Rivers. Plus sickening performances by Daya Betty as Lady Gaga, Onya Nurve as Beyoncé, Jorgeous as Ariana Grande, Kim Chi as Celine Dion, and Vanessa Vanjie as Rihanna on the most important night of the year for the art of Drag. CLICK HERE

Presented by the Santa Rosa Island Authority, locals and visitors alike are invited to gather under the stars, feel the sand between their toes, and enjoy timeless movie classics against the breathtaking backdrop of the Gulf.
