Over the weekend I took a couple of walks around the trail by my house. Of course, I wasn't the only one to take a walk, but I did try and do my part to distance myself from others on the trail. Every time I saw someone coming I made a point of leaving the trail to get 6 feet away. I have seen quite a few people that didn't stay away from others. It got real for me over the weekend as I had friends reaching out from all over and many going slightly stir crazy from spending all of their time from home. I even have 2 friends that are currently waiting for test results because they have been sick. It's pretty surreal to see the stats. The main question on everyone's mind is when life and return to normal and I've been hearing the term the 'new normal'. I did try and lookup what the experts are saying about when we can go back to 'normal'. According to "The Atlantic" there are 4 possible timelines, which just tells me that no one knows. The timelines range from one month to 18 months, whatever the timeline is just do your best to stay safe. In case you're wondering about how this thing can spread if we don't social distance check out this video!
