Bellingrath Gardens and Home’s craft beer and music festival, Beers & Blooms, is back for its second year on Saturday, March 12, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The azaleas will be blooming in full force, and the beer will be flowing.
Join us on the Great Lawn at the heart of the Gardens, hear great music from local bands, and sample a wide variety of craft brews. Music acts include The Modern Eldorados, Symone French & The Trouille Troupe, Sean Donahue, and Kalyn Muller. Attendees age 21 and over will receive a tasting glass to sample craft beer from breweries all over the East Coast including Samuel Adams, Dogfish Head, TrimTab, Old Majestic, Abita, Parish, Cigar City, Terrapin, Catawba, Palmetto, Kings Calling, and Chandeleur. Food and other beverages can be purchased from various food trucks and Bellingrath’s own Magnolia Café, and local vendors will also be selling handmade goods if you need a shopping break.
The gates open at 11 a.m. and the music begins at 12. Bring a chair or blanket, and spend the day enjoying music, food, and craft beer surrounded by lush springtime blooms. Tickets are $30 for members, $35 for non-members through March 4th. After March 4th, tickets will increase to $35 for members and $40 for non-members.
