GULF COAST CHINESE LANTERN FESTIVAL- Thurs-Sun 5pm-10pm, April 16-June 21, Bellingrath Gardens, Theodore

The 2026 Gulf Coast Chinese Lantern Festival is an all new show filled with all new lanterns. As night falls, the Gardens glow with more than 40 towering, handcrafted light sculptures that transform the landscape into a vivid world of color and scale. EARTH DAY MOBILE BAY- Sat 10am-6pm, Fairhope Pier Park

Earth Day Mobile Bay seeks to grow the environmental movement on the Gulf Coast and sees it as an effective vehicle for promoting a healthy, sustainable planet. There will be educational programs, exhibitors, and activities, as well as live music featuring Grits-N-Greens, The Krickets, and the Grayson Capps Band. Admission is free.  CLICK HERE   

EARTH DAY PENSACOLA- Sat 10am-4pm, Bayview Park, Downtown Pensacola

KITES OVER MOBILE- Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 12noon-5pm, USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile Causeway

Create beautiful memories along Mobile Bay with vibrant kites, exciting demonstrations, and live entertainment for the whole family. There will be professional kite demos, a kite hospital, kites for sale (or bring your own), vendors, food trucks, and live music on Saturday. Parking cost $5 for cars and $30 for RVs. MUDBOTTOM REVIVAL MUSIC FESTIVAL- Sun 2pm-6pm (gates open 1:30pm), Bender Point, (3619 Riviere Du Chien Road), Mobile

Dog River Clearwater Revival (DRCR) is proud to host the 11th Annual MudBottom Revival Music Festival – a fun afternoon created to raise awareness and funds for DRCR's ongoing Dog River improvement projects. The lineup includes Mobile’s Camm Lewis, The New Cahoots from Pensacola, and headliner Willie Watson. Attendees of this family-friendly fundraising event are invited to bring coolers, picnic blankets and chairs to enjoy an afternoon of live music under a shaded oak-covered spot on the banks of beautiful Dog River. Must buy tickets in advance. CLICK HERE

  

MOBILE IMPROV COMEDY CARNIVAL- Fri 6:30pm, Sat 5:30pm, Mobile Carnival Museum, Downtown Mobile
