AMERICA 250 CELEBRATION- Fri 4pm-8pm, Daphne Civic Center

This free community event will honor 250 years of American history, freedom, and patriotism, bringing residents together for an evening of live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and community fellowship. At 6 p.m., the Alabama Army National Guard Band will take the stage for a special performance. This event is part of the nationwide America 250 initiative.  CLICK HERE   

151st ARMY BAND CONCERT for AMERICA 250 - Sun 3pm, Medal of Honor Park, Mobile

This free concert is part of the nationwide celebration of America's 250th anniversary. Bring a lawn chair and the whole family!  CLICK HERE  

AMERICA’S DISTINGUISHED YOUNG WOMEN 69th NATIONAL FINALS- Wed 6:30pm Community Night; Thurs/Fri 7pm-9pm, Preliminaries; Sat 7pm Finals; Mobile Saenger Theatre, Downtown Mobile

Young women representing each state are in Mobile for a chance to win scholarship money and earn the title America’s Distinguished Young Woman 2026. Wednesday is Community Night, with the DYW Class of 2026 providing a sneak peek of the Finals show, and inviting children in the audience to join them on stage to learn some of the choreography. Preliminary competitions are Thursday and Friday nights, with the Finals on Saturday.  CLICK HERE   

AMERICA’S DISTINGUISHED YOUNG WOMEN STATE SPECIALTIES PARTY- Sat 11:30am-1pm, Mobile

Enjoy live jazz from Harvey Antone's Smooth Jazz Experience and The Cedric Brooks Project, with food and drinks included. Bid on the silent auction, get a caricature done, and join the second line at the end of the evening with The Excelsior Band. WHEELS & REELS DRIVE-IN MOVIE: JUMANJI, THE NEXT LEVEL- Sat 6pm-9pm (movie starts at 6:30pm), Ladd-Peebles Stadium, Mobile

Join City of Mobile Events for a free outdoor movies series that brings the classic drive-in experience to multiple locations across Mobile. Enjoy watching the movies from your vehicle or designated seating areas with your lawn chairs and blankets; plus, there will be food trucks! (Parking is free, on a first-come, first-served basis. Santa Rosa County Parks and Recreation is bringing the big screen back to the outdoors this summer. Community members of all ages are invited to enjoy free, family-friendly movie nights under the stars. All movies will be shown at sunset. Admission is free and open to the public. The play, set in the 1890’s, tells the story of newcomers who bring their high-falutin’ ways to a rural area. At first they are met with distrust, but the way they care for their neighbors gradually wins friendship and, eventually, admiration.
